The Palliçois

A knife co-designed with the design team at "La Matière," a key player in the circular economy and material reuse in La Rochelle.
Their logo is engraved on the first version, featuring a padauk and light wood handle.
The handle and blade harmonize with their atypical and dynamic design. The matte blade is truncated in the spirit of historical sailor's knives, crafted to minimize damage during mutinies. To retain the authenticity of handcrafted work, we opted for an extremely sharp asymmetric grind that may reveal traces of heat treatment on its flat side.
Farol's innovative locking system allows the blade to be released with a simple thumb gesture, thanks to a wire spring mechanism that securely holds the blade in its open position. The blade is affixed with a naval carpentry rivet, ensuring exceptional durability.
Every blade, handle, and sheath is meticulously handcrafted in our workshop with passion and precision.
